My name is Leiana, and Ink & Splat is a brand I created to reflect my personality, style, and medium preferences as an artist. The “&” symbolizes not only the duality of the mediums I like to use, but also the fusion of different elements about the work itself…Quirky & focused, minimalistic & colorful, and some are even character driven & ironic. There’s also a symbolic purpose behind the use of splatter paint and the ink itself. For some of the pieces, the black and grey ink paired with the vibrant splatter paint colors stand for the duality and balance of negative and positive emotions. Drawing & painting has always been a passion of mine, and I’m excited to share these projects with y’all!
